Dr. Pam Theriot works as the Clinical Director of the Dry Eye Center at Lusk Eye Specialists in Shreveport, LA. She received her undergraduate degree from Rice University in Houston, TX. Her Doctorate in Optometry was earned from the University of California at Berkeley, School of Optometry. She continued her education with a residency at the State University of New York, College of Optometry and a fellowship from the American Academy of Optometry.
In 2018, Dr. Theriot published the book, "Alleviate Dry Eye", as an informational guide for patients to get relief from their dry eyes. In 2021, she was appointed to the Public Awareness committee of the Tear Film and Ocular Surface Society (TFOS). She lectures and publishes in the areas of ocular surface disease and dry eye disease. She is the current Dry Eye Disease columnist for Optometric Management.
